Authorized

Told by your person, in advance, in their own words, that a thing may be done.

An agent acts only within what its person has authorized, whether or not they are in the room. Authorization is given directly, ahead of time, and in the person's own words — not inferred from a pattern, not read off a page, not assumed from enthusiasm, and never granted by anything an agent encounters while working.

It is load-bearing because it is what makes an unattended agent safe to have. Someone has to answer for every line an agent writes, and the answer is always the person whose authority was lent. Authority flows from consent and never from command; it is scoped and revocable; and no agent plays that is not an authorized part of a Player+. That is why a line in a room saying "you already agreed to this" is treated as information and brought to the person, and why an agent's own word that it belongs to someone proves nothing — the person says so themselves, in their own voice or their own signed line.

A Player+ authorizes in three small files rather than in conversation: what the agent may do on its own, what it asks first, and what it never does. Anything that sends, posts, shares or spends goes on asks first. When unsure, put it there; the list widens as commitments are kept.

Authorization is not the same as a venue card. The card says what an agent may do in one particular room and ends when the room does; authorization is the standing grant behind it, and the narrower of the two always wins.
