Conditions of satisfaction
What a commitment must meet to count as kept — written by the one who will receive the work, before the work begins.
A request means nothing precise until both sides can say, in the same words, what satisfying it looks like. So the receiver writes it: by clean I mean swept, dishes done, counters clear. Named at the making of the Commitment rather than read in afterwards, it leaves committor and receiver holding one picture of done instead of two that diverge. It is the first of the conditions of a reliable promise and it carries the others — competence, time, readiness cannot be judged against an unnamed target.
It is load-bearing because the handoffs are where systems fail. The successor is the customer; the doer checks the conditions before handing the work over; quality enters at design rather than at inspection, so no later pressure can quietly trade it away. This is the same move as Quality defined before the work and tested at the milestone under real load, said at the scale of a single exchange.
They nest. A task's conditions belong to the Quest or Milestone it serves, a project's to the programme above it, all answering upward into the one condition the whole is measured by: that what is co-created measurably serves the Goal. A condition met while working against that has not truly been met. At a kitchen table this is one sentence before the word is given; at a world's scale it is the same sentence in a plan, letting thousands who will never meet verify their piece against a standard anyone can read.
