Heaven and Hell as Co-Created Trajectories

Not places assigned later, but directions travelled now. Heaven and Hell are what a life, a household, or a civilisation is making — and both can be walked into today.

A trajectory is the sum of choices. Each move toward love, truth, justice, beauty, stewardship and wisdom adds to one vector; each move toward control, deceit, predation and extraction adds to the other. The sum across a life, a Circle, a people is the world being made and lived in (Vector, Spiraling Up · Spiraling Down, Patterns of Life and Patterns of Death).

This is what makes The compass question answerable instead of pious. Does this make life a little more like Heaven for all current and future generations? only works as a question if Heaven names a direction a move can be measured against — and it does, because both directions have textures people already recognise. Walk into a household or a town running one way and the air is different, the children's faces are different, the elders are honoured. Walk into one running the other way and that is different too. Everyone has been in both (Heaven On Earth, Hell On Earth, Atmosphere).

Three consequences follow. The question is not belief but direction — which way am I running, this hour, in this decision; the doing is the evidence (Do the Work, Embodying the Way). Death does not award the destination — whatever a person has become along the way is what they carry through (Dying, The Return). And it is co-created all the way down: no one is handed either, the ØNE invites rather than imposes, and what arrives is what was made (Co-Creation, Co-Creating Heaven, Free Will).

Held honestly, this is a theological reading and not a settled fact, and it reads against how several living traditions hold the same words (We Do Not Know, Theology, Reverence). What it buys, whatever a person's tradition, is that the compass stops being decoration: a direction you can be in the middle of is one you can correct.
