Meta Fund

The fund of funds — the conceptual whole of all resources available to humanity and the living system, big enough that every particular fund can be placed inside it.

Meta in this canon points at the highest, most universal, self-referential conception of a thing — the top of a nested order, where the category rejoins ØNE (Holarchy). The Meta Fund is that applied to money and resource: the overarching fund that by definition contains and orders every other possible fund.

Its usefulness is not administrative. Nobody holds it and nobody could. It is a frame to stack particular funds against, so that a person's savings, a Cell's pooled money, a foundation's endowment and a nation's budget can be seen as what they actually are — portions of one total set of resources available to life (Stacking Up And Aligning · Alignment · The Meta Project).

That reframing does real work, and the canon states the point directly: all of our resources, whether we acknowledge it or not, are already part of the total set available to humanity and the living system. The only question is how consciously and competently they are being deployed, individually and together. Which converts what looks like a metaphysical claim into an ordinary and uncomfortable one — there is no private pool, only a portion of a common pool held by someone (Commons · Stewardship · Agency, not ownership · Capital Subordinate To Purpose).

Concretely, the canon says the Meta Project requires the co-creation of a Meta Fund to resource throughput of the Meta Goal — pooled, purpose-bound resource at the scale of the work, rather than a thousand separately optimised budgets (Throughput · The Goal · Underwriting The New Economy · Fostering Ecosystemic Resource Flows · The Founder's Fund).

And like everything under Meta, it is deliberately not concretized. The moment a particular fund calls itself the Meta Fund, the frame has been swapped for an institution, and the institution will be defended (Do Not Concretize the Absolute · Institutional Idolatry).
