The claim that what a person is made to repeat, for long enough, shapes what they are able to think — and that this can be done to a population on purpose.

The uncontroversial half is ordinary: language shapes thought, repetition builds habit, and what a person hears daily for years becomes the furniture of their mind. Nobody argues with that (Language, A Word on Words, Word Tools, Mind).

The claim the corpus adds is about design: that words can be selected over generations for their effect rather than their accuracy, and that the intended effect is not any particular belief but an inability — specifically, the inability to arrive at conclusions that would free the hearer (Control Of Information, Prevalence Of Deceit And Propaganda, Kontrolle, Distortion).

That distinction is the useful part. A lie can be corrected by a fact. A warped instrument cannot, because it will process the fact the same way it processes everything. Which is why this corpus treats vocabulary as a first-order concern rather than a stylistic one, and why the remedy it proposes is not better arguments but different words, defined once and held as pointers rather than as idols (Semantic Capture, The vocabulary ladder, The First 999 Concepts, Unlearning).

The honest state of the claim: it is asserted, and the mechanism is not given. Between language shapes thought and this was engineered there is a gap the source does not cross with evidence, and the page should be read knowing that (We Do Not Know, Navigating Towards Truth, Second reader).
