Superordinance

The requirement that this body stand above, and never under, any existing nation, institution or ideology — not from pride, but because a body subordinate to any of them cannot do the work.

The argument has two limbs and both are practical.

Subordinate to a religion or an ideology, it would be rejected at face value by billions of the people who most urgently need to unite. Subordinate to a nation or an institution, it would exist at the will of a power structure that could compromise its integrity. Whatever can withdraw a body's permission can eventually direct its conduct, and usually does so long before anyone notices (Regulatory Capture · Institutional Idolatry · Constitutional Protection Of Purpose · Structural Immunity).

From those two the canon derives a design criterion rather than a claim of rank, and the distinction is the whole page. The sovereignty and inherent worth of each individuality and locality flows directly from the Source of life. The right and responsibility to exist, to act rightly, to relate properly to all other life, and to do what is required for the greatest good is not derived from any human source or institution — it is held directly (Sovereignty · Sovereignty At Every Scale · Divine Spark · Dignity · Source).

Read carefully, superordinance is therefore not a claim to rule above the nations. It is a claim that the ground a person stands on is not owned by them — the same move as no king but ØNE. What stands above every institution is not this body but the Goal and the law of love that every institution is answerable to, and this body claims only not to be subordinate to anything below that (ØNE · One Purpose Above All · The Logic Of Love).

The danger of the idea is obvious and belongs on the page: superordinate is exactly what every empire has said.
