Sovereignty
Inalienable self-governance derived from Source and bound by Logos — the ultimate authority to govern one's self, and the ground on which all Consent and all legitimate Authority rest.
Sovereignty does not originate with a ruler, a nation state, or a corporation. Its locus, together with inherent divine worth, lies inalienably with the person, and stacks up and aligns through voluntary consent. It is not merely political or territorial: it runs through body, feeling, mind, spirit, and the cosmic scale at once, and it is real only where a being can act from their own deepest discernment without coercion, manipulation, or dependency.
Everything else in this Pillar is downstream. If sovereignty is rhetorical, then consent is theatre, membranes are decoration, and federation is empire with better manners. If it is architectural — protected by a boundary the body actually maintains — then a person may enter a Circle, give their word, and leave in peace, and the whole edifice of voluntary association holds.
The canon is equally clear that sovereignty is not isolation. It is autonomy with reciprocity: a sovereign being is accountable for their effects, aligned with the greater whole, and interexistent with all the rest (InterExistence). Sovereignty that refuses relationship becomes a wall; sovereignty that dissolves into the group becomes absorption. The living form is a boundary that breathes.
In play, a player meets it as the simplest of facts: nobody is governed who has not agreed, agreement can be withdrawn, silence is never a yes, and anyone may leave at any time. Around a table it looks like one voice per person. Across scales it looks like the Total Nested Holarchy Of Sovereignties, each level whole in itself and voluntarily inside a larger whole.
