The Gates of LIØNSBERG
The first crossing: the link that arrives from another person, and what stands on the other side of it.
Plural, and distinct from the other gate-systems it opens onto. The Gates of LIØNSBERG are the outermost door — the page a person reaches when someone they trust sends them something. What lies beyond is not a website, an organisation, or an ideology; it is a body of people already walking, and a set of renderings of something older than any of them, humbly held and continually improving.
Beyond this first crossing three further gate-systems wait: The 144 Gates of Initiation, the universal walk from the old world to the new; The 72 Gates of the Sacred Ascent, the lifetime arc of mastery beyond it; and the infinite gates of The Eternal Divine Play, which is what continues after mastery. The nesting is the teaching — each door opens onto a larger one, and none of them is the last.
The crossing itself is brief and specific. Receive the Story. Be met by The Invitation. Recognise that you are not alone. Begin to articulate your own yes. Find or form your Cell. That is all that happens at this gate; the walking beyond it is lifelong, and the walking itself is the thing rather than the preparation for it.
What is offered is freely given. Nothing must be believed, no identity surrendered, no tribe forsaken. If it resonates, step through; if it does not, set it down gently and go on. The gates remain open, which is the same commitment the Game makes at its own door: anyone may leave at any time, in peace, and the door does not close behind them.
