The Ø Guild
The one that is not a craft: the integrating function beside the twelve, which nobody joins because everybody walking the universal path is already in it.
Each of The Twelve Archetypal Guilds stewards a craft and is sovereign inside it — warriors, healers, teachers, builders, storytellers and the rest. The Ø Guild stewards the architecture within which they are all held. It names no specialisation of its own, because the moment it specialised it would become one more guild and the whole arrangement would collapse (Guild, ØNE Body, Higher Order Functional Unity).
The problem it solves is an old structural fork. Without an integrating function the only options are uniformity — everyone walks the same way, nobody goes deep — or fragmentation — specialists with nothing holding them together and, in time, one craft quietly governing the rest. The Ø Guild is the answer that keeps both unity and gift: every person walks the one universal path, and each also goes deep into whichever of The Five Archetypal Ways calls them (Meta Unity of Meta Diversity, The Four Warrior-Guild Capture Modes).
There is no joining and no roster. Walking the universal way of the ØNE Body is already being in it, because it is the function the walking performs. There is no council of its own either: wherever the body coordinates itself as one — a federation meeting at any scale, a Circle holding agreements across every discipline its members carry — that is this operating (Holofractal Omnifederation, Federation, Field of Agreements).
Its recognitions are derived, never independent. A high recognition earned in one craft's way adds a mark here; mastery is the integration of several, witnessed by the crafts themselves. Nobody becomes a master of integration by claiming integration (Belt Progression, The dans, and Mastery at 5th Dan, Mastery, Recognitions Are Not Titles To Be Sought).
And it is not a hierarchy. It does not rule the crafts, does not hold their authority, and cannot overrule them; it witnesses and it holds (Subsidiarity, The Pattern Governs, Not People, Sovereignty At Every Scale).
The letter does the same work as the function: the slash that marks the Source and the body marks here the thing that cannot be reduced to a specialty (ØNE, Naming Forms).

Open: The Card counts twelve archetypal Guilds and five archetypal Ways in the same architecture without reconciling the two numbers. · A function with no council and no roster has no way to be held to account, and the Card does not address it. · Only one of the craft guidebooks it depends on exists.
