The Twelve Archetypal Guilds
Warriors · Healers · Teachers · Builders · Stewards · Storytellers · Midwives · Witnesses · Guardians · Cosmic Diplomats · Cooks · Architects — twelve crafts, each sovereign within its own, each holding one facet of a whole civilization.
A Guild gathers the people who hold a craft, across places, on the strength of competence and the ethic that competence carries. The roster here is the canon's answer to which crafts, matched to the twelve substantive domains of a civilization so that every domain has a body of practice actually stewarding it.
The governing rule is sovereignty within the craft. The warriors do not tell the healers how to heal; the healers do not tell the warriors when to engage. Each holds its function with its own formation, its own lineage, its own protocols, its own council — and each is accountable to the wider body for the contribution of its craft and federates with the rest in right relationship (Sovereignty At Every Scale, Federation, Subsidiarity).
Two things in the roster reward attention. Guardians and Warriors are listed separately, and the canon says why: the Guardians hold the broader guardianship work, generally without the emphasis on trained destructive capacity, while the Warriors hold the specific facet that requires it. Protective function is not one craft's monopoly (Guardianship, Warrior). And the list includes Cooks, Midwives, and Witnesses beside Architects and Teachers — crafts that most civilizations treat as service, support, or nothing at all, named here as first-class bodies with their own formation and their own seat (Dignity, Size of role, size of person).
Each guild is meant to carry its own guide — its own articulation of spirit, ontology, practices, and transmission for its facet (The Architecture Of A Way). The practical consequence of the whole scheme is federation rather than hierarchy: no craft governs the others, and a body that has lost meaningful federation between its crafts will find one of them quietly beginning to govern the rest (The Four Warrior-Guild Capture Modes, Federations vs Empires).

Open: The canon's Guild row carries no roster, and this is the only enumeration of the twelve in the corpus. · The mapping of twelve crafts onto twelve domains is stated as correspondence and never worked out — which craft stewards which domain is left to inference, and Guardians and Warriors appear to share one. · Only one of the twelve guides exists.
