The LIØNSBERG Workshop
The living construction site: where what is not yet proven is kept honestly, and where an instrument is improved so that all bodies rise together.
The Workshop is the honest gate to everything that is still being built — plans and scaffolding, foundations and half-raised walls, beautiful sketches that may yet be redrawn. Most of the corpus is exactly that, and the Workshop's first service is to say so plainly, so that a reader knows which ground they are standing on. Nothing here is cohered by declaration. Things become sound the way the Game did: through real play, real questions, and real hands.
It is load-bearing in two ways. As a place, it separates the small cohered path a newcomer can walk from the vast territory beyond it — so the territory can stay open without misleading anyone. As a practice, it is where a Play, a Pattern Card, or a tool is improved: run the card as written until your body finds a better way, then improve the card here, where every other body can receive the improvement, rather than keeping the fix at your own table.
How it is walked. Explore freely, hold lightly, question everything. When something helps you, use it. When something confuses you, set it down — it may simply not be built yet. When you see how to improve something, say so: the Builder's answer to every visitor is let us review the plans and specifications together; perhaps you could help improve them. What is played and proven graduates to the cohered path; what is not yet proven stays here and becomes a little better every day. General Needs doubles as the commissioning list of what still needs making.
