The Seed In One Sentence
The whole pattern compressed until it fits in a single breath — the form in which it can be carried in memory and repeated to a stranger.
The canon's sentence: sovereign beings, transformed by a shared Purpose greater than any one of them, voluntarily associate into self-governing teams that federate at every scale — carrying the same DNA of governance, economics, production, and mutual accountability from the individual to the planetary — designing to the Goal, building through networks of reliable commitments, learning from every cycle, and replicating by design, because the final act of maturity is planting new seeds.
Every clause is an Element. Transformed by a shared Purpose is Elements 1 and 6. Voluntarily associate into self-governing teams is 3 and 4. Federate at every scale, carrying the same DNA is 2. Governance, economics, production, and mutual accountability reaches 5 and 8. Designing to the Goal is 10, networks of reliable commitments is 11, learning from every cycle is 12, replicating by design is 7, and the same DNA from the individual to the planetary is 9 seen from above.
Compression of this kind is not a summary; it is a transmission format. Movements that spread hand to hand all had one: seven principles on a page, six hundred words of steps and traditions, a Rule short enough to be read aloud at a meal. The forest cannot be passed from hand to hand. A sentence can.
Two other compressions stand beside it and do different work. The one question — does this make life a little more like Heaven? — is the compass, usable before any move by anyone including a child. The Three Supreme Agreements are the floor to return to when a decision is genuinely hard. The sentence is the architecture; the question is the compass; the agreements are the ground.
