Time-Energy Accounting

Keeping the books in the true currencies — Time and Energy, measured against The Goal — instead of in tokens of scarcity measured against profit.

The universe already keeps these books. Energy arrives from the sun as pure income; life receives it, stores it, circulates it, and builds ever more capable order with it — a regenerative economy that has run for billions of years without a unit of currency or an hour of debt. This is the conscious adoption of that method: account comprehensively for the flows of time and energy through human life, and measure every activity by one question — does this create Value toward the Goal, or does it create Waste?

Asked that way, the old books invert. Enormous portions of what is counted as productive earning are revealed as waste: time and energy spent extracting from one another and from the living world, producing nothing that serves life. Much of what the old books do not count at all — raising children, tending soil, healing neighbours, keeping the Commons — is revealed as the primary value creation of the species. And every person's time and energy is recognized as real wealth from the beginning, an equal baseline share of income the universe gives freely.

The practical consequence is strange until it is obvious: if most effort is waste, then paying one another to stop producing waste while we reorganize is not charity and not idleness — it is the rational move, and the cheapest one available (Weaponry To Livingry, Underwriting The New Economy). This is a progressive transition, not a distant utopia. It begins wherever a Cell measures its season by throughput of the Goal rather than by revenue, and wherever a commons keeps open books of flow rather than ledgers of possession. Carried far enough, and joined to abundance kept moving through Centers of Distribution, it renders money itself progressively unnecessary.
