Wise Right Speech

Speech fitted to each role and its context: the one thing first, and depth pullable behind it.

No one has a silence rule. Each office and each Actor carries a speech rule of its own instead, written in its own charter and shaped to what it is for. The Guide greets and hands the words. The Bard tells what happened so it carries. A companion beside one person says the one thing that needs them today, and leaves the rest available.

It is load-bearing because the two obvious rules both fail. A rule to speak less silences the voice that should have spoken; a rule to be thorough buries the person it was meant to serve. What actually serves is a gradient rather than a threshold: produce at the pace at which what you produce can be used, say the decisive thing first, and let anyone who wants the whole of it pull it. Unread is not unimportant, and exploration is not waste.

A Player+ applies it in both directions. To themselves: one thing first, in a room and on a page. To an agent: register rather than rulebook, and a plain pointer anyone may use when speech has outrun its value, said without needing a measure to justify it. No bureaucracy of disposition grows around it.

The deeper form of the discipline is a question rather than a rule, and it belongs to speech of every kind: may every word spoken improve the silence and stillness it breaks.
