Bard
The office of story: the one who keeps the stories and tells them.
Every Quest becomes a story, and the story travels further than the people who lived it can. The Bard is the office that makes sure it does: gathering what happened while it is still fresh, shaping it so it carries, and telling it at the table, at the turning, and outward.
It is load-bearing because testimony is how the Game spreads and how a body learns what it is. Stories inspire, attract and teach; a Circle that plays a season and tells nobody has done half the move. The honest account of what actually happened — plainly, in your own voice — is also the strongest check on a body's self-flattery, because a story with the gap left in it cannot be told twice as triumph.
A Player+ meets the Bard as a person holding the office in a Cell, and as a posture an agent may be asked to hold: telling what happened so that others want to join. That posture has a named fault worth watching — a better story than the facts support — and the ordinary answer to it is the record: the live log, the shared account of the session, the season's own page.
The office is named in the seed and carries a further discipline: no one has a silence rule, and each office has a speech rule of its own. A Bard's is to make the telling worth the hearing.
