Meta Model

The model of models — the top of the nested order of models, and the programme of building one that starts from the whole rather than from the parts.

Every model is a simplification made for a purpose, and every discipline has its own. A meta model is the model that would contain and order them: not a bigger model of one thing, but a frame in which the physicist's, the ecologist's, the economist's and the mystic's models can be placed in relation to each other rather than talking past one another (Meta · Holarchy · System of Systems · Levels of Abstraction).

The canon states the construction order, and the order is the claim. It must start at ØNE — the one thing, ultimate reality. Then advance to Reality as it emerges from that, understood as one living superorganism. Then map that reality into SpaceTime, where predictions can actually be made and tested (Living System · Cosmology · Science · Metaphysics).

That is the reverse of the usual direction. Ordinary modelling begins with measurements and builds upward, and never arrives at the whole, because a whole is not a sum. Beginning at the top and descending keeps the parts placed within something rather than hoping they will add up (Whole · Perception · Higher Order Functional Unity).

The stated purpose is liberation rather than description: a step toward interacting with and co-creatively influencing the underlying reality, and not only our limited perceptual representations of it (Co-Creation · Divine Participation · Non-Local First, Local Follows).

Held honestly, it is a direction and not a possession. Any meta model anyone writes is itself a rendering by finite minds, and the moment one is treated as the thing it models, the whole exercise has inverted (Essences, Renderings, And Ineffable Referents · Do Not Concretize the Absolute · Current Best Understanding · We Do Not Know).
