Purpose
The unique expression of Spirit and Logos through a being's life, role, or mission within the Great Story of Creation.
Purpose in this Field is personal and structural at once, and the two senses have to be kept apart to be useful. Personally, it is what only this life can express — grounded in Essence, recognised through The Calling, and drawn out rather than assigned; Genius names the unique creative gift the canon says each being carries. Structurally, One Purpose Above All is the first of the Twelve Irreducible Elements: the Purpose governs, and leaders serve it.
It is load-bearing on both sides. Personally, because the system refuses to treat people as interchangeable capacity: roles are chosen and rotated, size of role is matched to size of person, and a whole Pillar is given to drawing out what each person carries. Structurally, because a body whose purpose can be captured has no defence — which is why Constitutional Protection Of Purpose exists, why Capital Subordinate To Purpose is an Element, and why the asset lock holds that the body cannot be bought, sold, or cashed out.
The link between the two is the practical genius of the design. A person's purpose is served by the body; the body's purpose is served by persons who are actually themselves. Education As Transformation states the direction — form people, and people form organizations — and The Zone Of Optimum Development states the care: never overwhelming, never under-challenging.
The canon's honest note is that a person's purpose is found by walking, not by deciding. What reliably energises points toward it; what chronically drains is asking to be changed, shared, or released. A season of kept words and honest gaps tells a player more about their purpose than any inventory.
