Technology
Tools, techniques, and systems crafted to extend creative capacity in alignment with the Logos — never neutral, always forming whoever uses them.
A technology is a made thing that changes what a person or a body can do. That is its gift and its danger: it does not merely serve an intention, it shapes the intention. A tool that makes one act cheap makes that act more likely, whatever anyone intended, so the question asked of every tool is the same one asked of every move — does this make life a little more like Heaven?
Two tests hold. Knowledge must serve life: a technology is evaluated by its effect on the flourishing of the whole, not by its cleverness or its returns. Technology is not neutral: it shapes consciousness, culture, and society, which means the design is a moral act and the designer is accountable for it. Under these tests the direction of development reverses. Capacity built for domination is converted to capacity that serves life — the move named Weaponry To Livingry. Innovation is measured as regeneration rather than convenience.
In practice a Cell meets technology as a question of sovereignty and of floor. Technology Sovereignty asks who holds the substrate the body depends on. The floor is the opposite discipline: everything the Game asks can be done with a notebook and no machine at all, so no instrument is ever allowed to become the condition of playing. A tool that makes the work faster and wiser is welcome; a tool without which the body cannot function has quietly become a ruler.
The register of what technology may be is wider here than in the Old World's accounting — energy, communication, food, transport and their sovereignties are treated together rather than as separate industries — and most of that register is named in the field's gaps rather than written.
