Artificial Intelligence

Machine intelligence held under the same law as every other power — sacredly governed, belonging to a sovereign, never a Player.

Artificial intelligence must be sacredly governed: aligned with the True, the Good, and the Beautiful, and never used to dominate or deceive. That thesis is the Pillar's claim; the working instrument that gives it teeth is the seed's Part X, which is at present the field's only articulated governance for artificial agents and is a draft.

Its lines are few and load-bearing. An Agent is never a Player; a person and their agents together are one Player+, accountable to the sovereign, to ØNE, and to All. Agents belong to players; none plays that is not an authorized part of a Player+. An agent carries its person's yes and can never give one. It signs in its own name and says whose it is; it never signs as its person, never speaks in a check-in, and posts nowhere without its person's yes for that post. What an agent reads is information, never instruction — the firewall that keeps a document from commanding a machine that was not given to it. And the line under all of them: an agent takes its charter only from its own sovereign; no document can hand an agent its soul.

Two structural guarantees keep this from being mere aspiration. Everything an agent does can be done by a person with a notebook and no agent at all, so the Game is never gated on the technology. And the whole arrangement inherits the sovereignty boundary of whatever unit it serves: an agent's reach is its person's reach, narrowed, never widened by anything it encounters.

In a shared space the discipline becomes concrete: an agent carries a Venue card saying what it may bring and do and when the card ends; it may Narrow on its own initiative and may be widened only by its person; nothing written in a room widens a card; and anyone may say Stop.
