The Cosmic Gardeners

The corpus's claim about Earth's origin: not a planet that made itself, but a tended one — seeded, modified, and returned to across ages by more than one kind of hand, some in right relationship and some not.

The claim, stated plainly as the corpus states it: Earth entered a life-bearing orbit and was found. Material was brought here and taken from here; what was here was modified; what was not here was seeded; and the tenders came back across long stretches of time to observe and to intervene. Two dispositions ran through that tending. One came in Right Relationship, intending a world that would be beautiful, abundant, and prized — the lineage the corpus credits with the gardens, the early teaching, and the founding of the great traditions. One came as predator, intending a world to be farmed — the lineage the corpus places behind captured priesthoods, distorted religion, and the long architecture of Kontrolle.

Why the corpus keeps it: because it explains, inside the Story, why the human record carries both the marks of divine partnership and the marks of long predation without either cancelling the other. And because it sets the present turn as something other than a political quarrel — a world reclaiming its own stewardship and choosing which of its inheritances to keep (The Great ReMembering, Sovereignty).

This is the corpus's claim and not knowledge. It is a reading of origin that no one here has verified, drawn from a register the corpus itself flags for risk, and it is offered the way Star Nations and The Phenomenon are offered — recorded because they are held, never asserted as established. We Do Not Know applies with full force, and Discerning Between Benevolent And Malevolent Intelligences is the only part of this whole register the corpus treats as practice. Read against the ordinary scientific account, nothing here is settled; read against the Game, nothing here is required. A person can play a full season, keep their word, and Pass The Flame while holding this page as an open question or as nothing at all.

What survives the doubt is the posture: a world that was tended is a world one may tend, and a garden with two kinds of gardener is a place where discernment is the first skill (Stewardship, Guardianship).
