The LIØNSBERG Lexicon
The WHAT layer of the language: one canonical definition per term, opened whenever a word's meaning is at stake.
The Lexicon is the semantic bloodstream of the body. Learning to speak the language is what lets information and resources flow between people who have never met, and the Lexicon is where each term is held once, canonically, so that every other page can point rather than repeat. It sits as Volume VIII of the Sacred Codex and is referenced throughout the rest.
Its frame is twelve core categories aligned with the twelve Pillars, plus a Meta Layer of Root Keys — the terms required to speak any of the rest. Each entry is meant to carry its canonical definition, its roots, its cosmic and functional role, its distinction from distorted uses, its linkages, and examples of use. The Meta Layer says of itself what the whole book should be read by: every definition is a humble rendering, a fingerpost toward a Reality that lies beyond both our current best understanding and the words we currently have for it.
The Lexicon is not the floor and not the library. The floor is the twelve words a table needs to start playing; the library is where a term opens into its whole page and its relations. The Lexicon is the middle: the place a reader goes to settle what a word means before arguing about the thing.
Held honestly, it is unfinished. The page marks itself a work in progress, several Root Keys are listed with no body beneath them, and its section for concepts English has no word for stands open and empty.
