Share the Stories
Move six: every Quest becomes a story, and the story travels further than you can.
Telling is a move of the Game, not decoration on it. What a Cell did is data to the people who did it and evidence to everyone else; told honestly, in the teller's own voice, it becomes the thing that reaches a person no argument could reach. Testimony is the primary vehicle of culture and of spread: this is how a practice crosses a street, a language, and a generation.
It is load-bearing because the body has no marketing and no center. Nothing recruits; stories do. The Season Sheet's line 9 — the season's best story in under a hundred and fifty words — is what lets a home read ten Circles in an evening and know which ones are alive. And a story is what Pass The Flame hands over along with the rules: come and see only works if there is something to see.
How it is played. Weekly, someone tells one story at The Turn and the teller is marked on The Circle's Scorecard. Seasonally, the table chooses its best and writes it short: what you set out to do, what happened, what changed. Keep it true — a story that improves the facts spends the trust the whole body runs on. Name people only as they choose to be named. Send it up with the sheet; The Way Up carries it, and The Return brings back the best from everywhere else. Every story becomes a prophecy of greater things to come.
